"Pre"- Introducing........

Andrew Joshua John........yep we're having another boy!!!

Sorry the pics are so small. The third one is the money shot. Literally within 2 seconds of the sonogram, he exposed himself. haha We are both really excited and if Nathan knew what was going on then I know he'd be ecstatic to have a little brother. At first I was sure we were having a girl, but in the past month I have come to the realization that we are having a boy....and I was right. I am surprised that I really wasn't upset or disappointed at all when we found out it was a boy. It's gonna be mayhem around here, but it will be lots of fun having two boys. Hopefully they will entertain each other, but I might as well go ahead and get a referee jersey and whistle ready!

Baby pool on a budget......

Haha! The look on his face is priceless......."this is it??"

No really, we're not on that tight of a budget. We just haven't had a chance to go get him a baby pool yet and wanted to take advantage of the warmer weather. :-)

Here's another pic of him having fun getting hosed down:

Ready to Swim

I bought Nathan a swimsuit the other day. I wanted to get him the kind of swimsuit that has a floatation device built into the suit cause knowing this kid, he will not keep floaties on his arm or any other part of his body if he can reach it and take it off. He's also so adventurous and has no fear so being around a pool with this kid will be interesting. I really liked this suit cause the floatation device is removable so he doesn't have to have a big bulky swimsuit for the sprinkler in the backyard. I don't know if his daddy was so thrilled about him wearing a full swimsuit as opposed to just swim trunks, but I like it cause it protects more skin from the sun. Anyways, enough rambling about a swimsuit, here's a pic of him:

Our trip to Dallas

We just returned from spending a week in Dallas with my parents. Jake had to work in Dallas all week so we decided to hitch a ride with him so Nathan could spend some time with his grandparents. He had a fun time at the grandparents house. He was able to open up all their cabinets and play with the dishes (something he can't do at home) and he had plenty of new things to discover (like my brother's guitars). My youngest brother turned 18 last weekend and we had a little cookout for him. Nathan got to play with his little cousins (well 2nd cousins) for the first time. My cousin has a newborn and a 2 year old. Nathan tried real hard to play with the newborn which was sweet. Nathan and his 2 yr old cousin had fun together and got along well. I got a little preview of things to come when I held the newborn and Nathan came up to me and kept pulling on my skirt begging me to pick him up. :-)

Here are some pics:
